New Year's in New Orleans are awfully rowdy. But then the city loves any excuse to party.

Sounds like an awesome monarchy. (Unless those arn't necklace beads.) I agree with my friend that if those arn't necklace/bracelet beads then it's a terrible monarchy.

No-no, as ridiculous as I make him out to be, it's not THOSE kinds of beads. Mardi-gras beads, the plastic kind that gets hurled at you from all directions.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if the other kind made its way to the street too :/

Thanks! You really can't illustrate Bourbon Street while shying away from crowds. Hell, I STILL didn't capture just how packed and crazy it is. I'd be sitting there for hours rendering the sheer enormity of color and chaos if I did.
