Quixaun is a character created by Kochikens of the BBA forum, a shaman/apothecary and the former owner of Shukka the bone dog. Quixaun means "divining rod" in Inupiaq (dialect of Eskimo language) and divining rods were used to tell if people were sick or nearing death. Despite Quixaun's aged appearance, he is only 45, but using magic so often and so long has deteriorated his body to this point. He normally lives outside the Man Villages as a isolated hermit in the woods, but occasionally journeys to the encampments for various reasons.
