I'm rather fond of Kal's hopping run. Though this gryphonic beastie is the size of a horse, it doesn't necessarily weigh as much (having hollow birdy bones). Plus, I figured a bird-like creature would have a unique run cycle akin to that hopping walk most raptors and smaller birds exhibit.
As I said, this is pure awesomeness. Awesome like lollipos and squids on sticks and snakes on a plane. Awesome like summer and yellow popsicles
A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Let me hear you all! Awesome!
I absolutly adore how the feathers on her ruffles like that and how the head stays in one place the whole time. Like a chicken!
And how the claws spread before hitting the ground. Even the way you made her bounce like that. That made me snortlol!
Thank you so much, this is worth much more than I actually paid
If you don't mind a critique, though: That dithering in the background is mildly distracting. Most GIF programs don't give you much control over that, unfortunately. It's actually possible to do the color reduction and some pattern dithering manually; it can be a rather tricky process and quite time-consuming (especially the way I do it!), but can yield some pretty good results. Would you mind if I experiment a bit with this?

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!

It's really quite hypnotic.
