Sketched with pencils and colored in Photoshop. This is the first piece I've done with my new Cintiq! Finally bit the bullet and got me the LCD/tablet as it allows for more natural digital painting work. Wacom's new 12WX is far, far lighter than their previous versions (4 lbs!) and doesn't warm up quite so much. It's fun to use and while it took some getting used to, the learning curve isn't as steep as learning to use a tablet. Mostly, it took some playing around with the settings to get the right "feel" before I felt comfortable with the device. Looking forward to doing future pieces with it :)
Kudos to :iconmynti: for the free brushes. Helped give some additional texture to this piece.

Hmm, seems this didn't appear in most of my watchers' inboxes. So reuploaded! Enjoy.

If I hadn't of stumbled across your front page, I wouldn't have noticed you uploaded this; for some reason, I never got the notice in my inbox!

I don't even know how to describe this at the moment. Just, wow. The pencil lineart was great, but this has reached beyond my expectations. I'm not sure what I was imagining that my commission would look like, but this is easily better. I'm amazed at how well this fits the purpose I wanted it for: to hang up in my room. I love the boarder- thank you for putting it in. Major thrill commissioning you, man. You definitely did these two justice.

I do have one more little request though. Could you sign it?

Wow. This look absolutley amazing. I love the simplicity of the back ground and the poses of the two characters. The border around it reminds me of animals of farthing wood. hehe. Lovely peice of work ^_^

Yeah, I talked to a few people and they said they hadn't seen it either. Maybe re-upload it or something? I mean, this is a pretty wicked pic man. It'd be a shame if it went unnoticed.
