Bram, that was a terrible joke. You're no longer allowed to crack jokes.

Bram is one of John buds, a fellow EMT who went through basic and field medic training with him. They've been through a lot together and if anyone hides the strain of the zombie apocalypse well, it's Bram. Always ready to crack a joke, liven the mood, and make things seem a little less grim in the face of certain doom.

Both John and Bram in this picture are apparently doing guard duty on the wall. Little parapets rise to or above the wall's upper limit, allowing the guards to raise alarm or shoot assailants as they come. John tells them not to shoot humans on site, and he discourages wasting bullets on lesser undead if it can be helped.

Little speed painting done for the hell of it.

I don't get to comment on much stuff lately, but this is quite lovely so I'll spare some time for it :0
I like the interaction in this piece, though it's subtle, it really gets character personality through. Great composition, too; can definitely see where the eye needs and wants to go. This is overall a brilliant little test of values and show of speedpainting skills. Diggin those textures and the way that even gestures of elements are recognizable. Well-done, as usual :>
